mandatory

• natural wicks must be manually trimmed to 1/4 inch before every burn
• always burn candles for less than 4 hours at a time
• burn within sight
• keep away from objects or materials that can catch fire
• keep away from drafts, children, and pets
• do not lift or handle lit candles or melted wax as containers and wax can become hot and could result in burns
• only burn in a suitable, candle safe container
• never touch flames
• never place burnable objects in or near a flame

for nominal results:

• let candle reach full melt pool (wax melted to all sides of container) before extinguishing to prevent tunneling
• extinguish candle by placing lid on candle jar to avoid splashing hot wax. nominal lids are not flammable, do not use with flammable lids.
